It is no longer news that, when the right policies are formulated, implemented and supervised on the use of the internet services in Universities to achieve quality teaching and learning. This problem however has prompted the study to assess the effect of Internet Service Provision in the Selected Universities in FCT, Abuja. The Universities selected are: University of Abuja, VERITAS Catholic University, Abuja, Bwary, Baze University, Abuja and Turkish Nile University, Abuja and fifty (50) students were selected from each of the Universities amounting to two hundred (200) respondents to be the population and sample size of the study. Probability sampling technique was utilized in this study. The study adopted statistical tool of Ordinary Least Square method of Regression Analysis and Pearson multiple correlation. The E-view Statistical Software Package was used and the reason for using E-view 7.00 Statistical Software Package is that it has the capacity to answer questions on how fit a model is given in a set of variables. The results from the first hypothesis which states that, there is no significant relationship between Computer Literacy in the Universities in FCT, Abuja, and the second that states that, there is no significant relationship between the availability of Internet facilities and Materials and academic performance of students in the Tertiary institution in the FCT, Abuja were accepted. However, the third hypothesis stating that, there is no significant relationship between the use of e-books and e-journals and academic performance of students in the Tertiary institution in the FCT, Abuja was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. In conclusion therefore, the adaptation of internet base service for teaching and learning is an important decision that can lead to quality teaching and Learning in the selected Universities in FCT, Abuja. It is also recommended, the government should ensure that learners are exposed to computer application at the primary and secondary school levels. Also, that management of the four (4) institutions should develop policies that will encourage and sustain e-teaching and e-learning in all the tertiary institutions for the enhancement of their customer satisfaction.
